a Butterfly for a blank wall & meet Feb 28 next!

Today, the group worked on a painting to enhance the wood wall that is in the sanctuary of the church during construction...  We each worked on our own projects as well and shared insights, criticisms, etc. 
   We will meet the last Monday of February instead of the first monday of March since many of us will be attending a workshop with Mark Mahaffey, put on by Western Ohio Watercolor group the first week of March.
The quilt in the top is by Pam Geisel and hung in the 'Flower Power' show January at the Emporium.

Come on down to the Emporium in Y.S. to see a lovely collection of creations centered around flowers - many of the MMA participants have entries...Reception on 1/8 at the Emporium from 5-7pm.  Bring a canned good to contribute to the local food panty....thanks to Corrine and the Jafagirls, Susan and the MMArtists for helping put the show together.  btw/bring a sharing plate to the reception, artists....
